vDAP (Validated Diagnostic Analysis Platform) is the backbone of our centralized, internet-enabled diagnostic projects. By offering a framework of prevalidated components into which customer-specific modules can be integrated, vDAP reduces both development time and risk for products requiring regulatory approval from bodies such as the FDA and EC.

vDAP supports generic operations such as secure network data transport between instrument and data analysis platform, plus communication to registration systems and process auditing. The framework can be adapted to the specifics of a product by plugging in smaller modules (for example to interface to a particular instrument type) that are simpler to create and validate.

Thus vDAP enables diagnostic-device developers to focus on core product and scientific differentiators rather than the generic supporting IT– leading to faster time-to-market at lower risk than would be possible with in-house development.
